A-line dress
I can totally work with you on fabric. Shown here is a 3 pumpkin applique. For an A-line dress, $25.
The above pumpkin dress I made reversible ($32. Will do 1 or 3 letter monogram or a different applique) and this is the reverse side:
Some other applique ideas (the same pumpkin applique on green corderoy and a Christmas 3 light set on red corderoy):
Here are some additional appliques I've used. Either of these flowers would be sweet on a dress as well (also shown, train and car):
